Mount Union Prepares for 162nd Commencement Ceremony

Commencement ImageMount Union College is preparing for its 162nd Commencement Ceremony, to be held Sunday, May 11.

Baccalaureate, a student-organized worship service, will begin at 10 a.m. at the south entrance of Chapman Hall.

At 1:30 p.m., the College will begin the Commencement Procession in which more than 450 graduates are expected to participate. This ceremony will also be held at the south entrance of Chapman Hall.

The featured speaker for this year's Commencement is Sylvester Green, retired business executive and former chairman of the Mount Union College Board of Trustees.

In the case of inclement weather, Baccalaureate and Commencement will be held in the gymnasium of the Timken Physical Education Building.
