Mount Union Ranked Top College by U.S. News and World Report

ALLIANCE, Ohio – For the 25th consecutive year, the University of Mount Union has been ranked as a top college by U.S. News and World Report.

Mount Union ranked eighth among Midwest Regional Colleges in U.S. News and World Report’s 2016 Best Colleges rankings. The Midwest Regional category includes institutions from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

In addition to being ranked in the Best Midwest Regional Colleges category, Mount Union was also recognized among “A+ Schools for B Students” in the Regional Colleges category. U.S. News and World Report released this ranking to identify colleges and universities where “non-superstars have a shot at being accepted and thriving – where spirit and hard work could make all the difference to the admissions office.”

Mount Union was also cited recently by for having one of the top integrative studies programs in the nation and by College Factual in its “Best Colleges for the Money” ranking. In addition, the University has been ranked among the nation’s top 50 baccalaureate colleges and universities in the nation in Washington Monthly’s 2015 rankings and in among the top four-year, accredited private and public colleges and universities nationally by Forbes.
