Mount Union’s Fall Band to Perform Christmas Concert December 3

ALLIANCE, Ohio - On December 3, the University of Mount Union will proudly feature, for the first time, the Fall Band, Jazz Ensemble and Raider Steel Band together in the Fall Band Christmas Concert, directed by Dr. Otis French, director of bands, and Jeff Neitzke, assistant director of bands and professor of percussion.

The concert will begin with the Jazz Ensemble and Raider Steel Band, followed by a brief intermission and concluding with the Fall Band. Each band will perform a collection of holiday classics including pieces like Carol of the Bells, The First Noel and Sleigh Ride. In addition to these performances, the Drake Musicianship Recruitment Scholarship will also be presented during the concert to one of the student performers. 

The Fall Band Christmas Concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on December 3 in the Brush Performance Hall, located in the Giese Center for the Performing Arts. The concert is free and open to the public.
