Mount Union?s International Education Week Will be Held November 11-17

International Education Week will be held at Mount Union College November 11-17. There will be special events occurring everyday to promote international awareness.
On November 11, there will be an International Dinner, sponsored by the Association of International Students (AIS), at 7 p.m. in the Dining Commons of the Hoover-Price Campus Center (HPCC). Advanced ticket sales are required for the dinner. Please contact the Office of International Student Services at (330) 823-3296.
On November 12, 13 and 14 there will be a Foreign Film Festival, sponsored by First Year in Honors, which includes the showing of the films 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' (United Kingdom) on Sunday, November 12, 'Paradise Now' (Palestine) on Monday, November 13 and 'Raise the Red Lantern' (China) on Tuesday November 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Kolenbrander-Harter Information Center (KHIC) 202.
On Wednesday, November 15, there will be a Foreign Language Poetry Tea, sponsored by Alpha Mu Gamma, at 4 p.m. in the East Room in HPCC.
Also on November 15, there will be another Foreign Film Festival, sponsored by Dr. Miao Zhang and the Advanced Film Class, which will include the showing of the film 'City of God' (Brazil) at 6:30 p.m. in Tolerton and Hood (T & H) 201.
On Thursday, November 16, there will be a final Foreign Film Festival, sponsored by the Department of Foreign Languages teaching assistants, which will include the showing of 'The Official Story' (Argentina) at 6:30 p.m. in T & H 202 and 'Taxi' (France) at 6:30 p.m. in T & H 100.
On Friday, November 17, there will be a Making a Difference Worldwide Display, sponsored by Dr. Michael Grossman, from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the HPCC Main Lobby.
Each night the Foreign Film Festivals will include a film panel presentation at 6:30 p.m., the featured movie at 7 p.m. and an audience discussion following the movie.
