Mount Union’s International Education Week Will be Held November 16-22

International Education Week will be held at Mount Union College November 16-22. Special events will be featured everyday to promote international awareness, culminating with the annual International Dinner.On Sunday, November 16, the Foreign Film Festival movie will be Beyond Silence (Germany), at 7 p.m. in Tolerton and Hood Hall Room 100 (T&H).
On Monday, November 17, there will be a Mini Language Lesson on German at noon in the Alumni Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center (HPCC). The Foreign Film Festival movie will be With a Friend Like Harry (France) at 7 p.m. in Kolenbrander-Harter Information Center 202 (KHIC).
On Tuesday, November 18, there will be a Mini Language Lesson on Chinese at noon in KHIC 202. A Celebration of Languages, sponsored by Alpha Mu Gamma & The Department of Foreign Languages, will be held at 4 p.m. in the East Room, HPCC. The Foreign Film Festival movie will be Grave of the Fireflies (Japan) at 7 p.m. in T & H 100.
On Wednesday, November 19, there will be a Mini Language Lesson on Russian at noon in the Alumni Room, HPCC. The Foreign Film Festival movie will be We’re All Stars (Peru) at 7 p.m. in T & H 100.
On Thursday, November 20, there will be a Mini Language Lesson on Arabic at noon in McPherson 144.
On Friday, November 21, there will be a Mini Language Lesson on Vietnamese at noon in the Alumni Room, HPCC. The Making a Difference Worldwide Display will run from 11a.m.-2 p.m. in the Main Lobby, HPCC. The International Tea featuring Europe will be held at 4 p.m. in the East Room, HPCC.
On Saturday, November 22, the annual International Dinner, sponsored by the Association of International Students, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Kresge Dining Common, HPCC. Tickets are $12 for adults, $9 for students, $5 for children (7-13) and free for children 6 and under. The dinner is open to the public.
