ALLIANCE, Ohio - Through April 6, nearly sixty works of student artists at Mount Union College will be on display for the Annual Student Art Show in Crandall Art Gallery, located in Cope Music Hall.

Sixteen students, not all of whom are art majors, designed the work, which includes drawings, paintings, prints and sculptures. Those students are: senior Renee Anderson of Titusville, PA; junior Danielle Cammuso of North Olmsted; junior Carrie Canavan of North Canton; sophomore Sara Dodson of Medina; junior Steve Hawk of Scottdale, PA; sophomore Autumn Kaufman of Dover; sophomore Alicia Mason of Salem; freshman Sarah McMahon of Homeworth; senior Jon Neal of Louisville; senior Kimberly O'Kelley of Concord Township; freshman Erica Raby of Ashland; junior Matt Schnauber of Franklin; junior Shane Snyder of Lordstown; sophomore Kara Stevic of Wooster; freshman Renee Walker of Bexley; freshman Audrey Wells of Park Hills, KY; and sophomore Ricky White of Canton.

A reception will be held Saturday, March 17 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Eells Art Center, in honor of the students and their accomplishments. During the reception, Cleveland artist Laila Voss will be giving a special guest lecture about her work, some of which was recently featured in a show in Crandall Art Gallery.

Voss is an active professional artist with regional and international shows to her credit. She has taught at several Ohio institutions, including Cuyahoga Community College and the University of Akron.

All events are free and open to the public.
