Mount Union Students Invited to Compete in Pitch U Competition

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union students are invited to pitch their entrepreneurship ideas in the upcoming Pitch U competition.
Pitch U is a competition that encourages the entrepreneurship ideas of students by inviting them to attend one of the competition dates at local colleges and universities. Students who attend should come prepared with a 90-second elevator pitch to present in front of a panel of investors. Students competing have the opportunity to win cash prizes – $2,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third place.
Students can choose from any of the following competition dates: September 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kent State University; October 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Case Western Reserve University; October 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at John Carroll University and November 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of Akron.
