Mount Union Theatre Presents "I Hate Hamlet" This Weekend

I Hate Hamlet LogoALLIANCE, Ohio – This weekend, the University of Mount Union Department of Theatre will present the comedic production, “I Hate Hamlet.”

“I Hate Hamlet” focuses on a soap opera star that attempts to play Hamlet, one of the greatest roles of the English Theatre, with the help of the ghost of John Barrymore. The production is set at the famous Shakespeare in Central Park, and the show itself is lighthearted and fun. “I Hate Hamlet” will feature an ensemble of six performers, and is directed by Michael Gatto, adjunct professor of theatre at Mount Union. 

Performances will occur on November 16 – 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 19 at 2 p.m. in the Gallaher Theatre in the Giese Center for the Performing Arts.    

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for seniors and veterans, and students are free with ID. For more information about “I Hate Hamlet”, call the box office at (330) 821-2565.
