Mount Union to Conduct Annual Holiday Shutdown

Mount Union is conducting its annual shutdown from 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 23 through Sunday, January 3. The College will reopen on Monday, January 4.
Mount Union Security will remain in force 24 hours a day during the holiday period. The switchboard will not be staffed after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23 until Monday, December 28 at 8 a.m. A recorded message will inform callers that Mount Union is closed until December 28 and will direct the caller to the security cellular phone in case of an emergency. The switchboard will be staffed by a student worker from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, December 28 through Wednesday, December 30. After 5 p.m., callers will hear a similar recorded message directing them to campus security in case of emergency.
The offices of Academic Affairs, Admission, Advancement, Business Affairs, Financial Services, Human Resources, Public Affairs and Marketing, the Registrar and Student Affairs as well as the Center for Global Education will be closed from 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 23 through Sunday, January 3. During this time, employees will be checking voicemail and e-mail periodically.
