Mount Union to Hold Preparatory Division Musicale

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union will host a Preparatory Division Musicale concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 28 in Presser Recital Hall.
Students participating in the event are from the Mount Union community and surrounding areas and are enrolled in the Preparatory Division program. Students will perform a variety of pieces including selections by W. Palmer, Clayton, Carrell, W. Bradbury, A. Sevison, A. Thomas, O. Rieding, J.B. Accolay, A. Dvorak and Beethoven.
Private instrumental and vocal lessons are available for non-university students of all ages and abilities through the University of Mount Union Preparatory Division. Lessons are offered in piano, voice, guitar, clarinet, trombone, percussion, violin, cello, flute, trumpet and saxophone. Appointments for lesson schedules are made at the Office of the Department of Music, which can be reached by calling (330) 823-2180.
Presser Recital Hall is located in Cope Music Hall on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue. Due to ongoing construction at the site of the new Performing Arts Complex, no on-site parking is available behind the building. Alternate parking is available on Simpson and Vincent Streets and in the Eells Art Center parking lot, as well as in other campus parking lots.
