Mount Union to Hold Trash To Treasure Sale

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union will host the fifth annual “Trash to Treasure” sale on Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8.
The event, a move-out day benefit sale and campus-wide recycling project, will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, May 8 at the University’s Physical Plant, located at 906 S. Union Ave. (formerly the Henschen Motor Building).
Collections will take place April 29 through May 6 with students leaving items at designated areas in their residence halls. Students living in the townhouses, apartments, or elsewhere can contact Abby Honaker at (330) 204-4663 to have someone pick up their items.
Mount Union faculty and staff members are also welcome to give donations, which can include furniture, clothes, bedding and books.
All food products will be donated to the Alliance Food Pantry and any personal care items will be given to the family involvement coordinator at the Alliance Middle School. All funds that are raised will be given to a local non-profit agency.
