Mount Union to Hold ‘Trash to Treasure’ Sale

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union’s fourth annual “Trash to Treasure” sale is slated for Wednesday, May 2 and Thursday, May 3.
The event, a move-out day benefit sale and campus-wide recycling project, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 3 at the University’s Physical Plant, located at 906 S. Union Ave. (formerly the Henschen Motor Building).
University of Mount Union community members have donated gently-used items that they no longer need or use for the sale. Items such as clothing, appliances, furniture and other valuables will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Greater Stark County and will be used for a new service-learning program at Mount Union. Remaining items will be donated to local non-profit agencies.
