Mount Union Vocal Literature Lecture and Recital to be held April 20

The Vocal Literature class will present the evolution of Art Song Tuesday, April 21 at 5 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall at Mount Union College. Seniors Maria Fesz and Abi Sevcik and juniors Andrew Potts and Shannon Thouvenin, under the direction of instructor Katherine Gold, will be performing.

Songs included in the program will be Lieder, Melodie and "good ol' American" songs with the common theme of Nature.  The highlight of the program will be a song cycle composed by the class on poems of Shel Silverstein as well as the premiere of a new work by Andrew Potts.
