Mount Union Women’s Chorus Concert to be Held April 12

The Mount Union College Women’s Chorus will present “An Evening of Jazz” on Monday, April 12 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The chorus will perform songs such as April in Paris, Tangerine, The Nearness of You, It Don’t Mean a Thing, Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree and Road Map Roulette.

The Women’s Chorus is under the direction of Dr. Scott Dorsey, professor of music. Accompanying will be Andrew Potts, a senior music performance major from New Philadelphia on piano, Gabrielle Jordan, a senior music education major Canton on bass and Kyle Misch, a sophomore exercise science major from Richmond Heights on drums.

This concert is free and open to the public.  Presser Recital Hall is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Vincent Street and Union Avenue on the Mount Union campus. For more information, contact the Mount Union Department of Music at (330) 823-2180.
