What makes Mount Union different from other colleges and universities is the environment. All of the professors care about how I am doing academically and personally.
Multiage Education Careers
Pair your major or coursework in French, Japanese, Spanish, German, music, physical education, health education and visual arts with our minor program in multiage education and prepare to make an impact in the lives of students of all ages. Our program offers the necessary coursework and critical hands-on classroom experience to gain licensure for teaching ages prekindergarten through 12.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that job opportunities in the education field will grow in the years to come. To meet this need, the Department of Education is geared toward preparing teacher candidates and assisting them in obtaining a teaching appointment. In addition, a major or minor in education provides an excellent foundation for careers in a number of areas, including:
- Schools
- Child care centers
- Youth ministry
- Colleges
- Coaching
- Human services professions
- Corporate training
