I chose to attend Mount Union because of the small class sizes and the one-on-one attention students receive from professors. At the University, you aren’t just a number. Professors really care about you and your progress in and outside of the classroom. They also are really approachable and personable.

EXPLORaider Mission

EXPLORaider (formerly the Multicultural Retreat) is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to experience the multiculturalism of the United States of America. Students along with faculty and staff from the College travel to metropolitan areas to absorb the unique diversity which cities offer. In addition, the EXPLORaider gives students an opportunity to share with others their own uniqueness and individual identity as well as to engage in dialogue with others from the campus community.

On the retreat, students, faculty, and staff engage in group-building, intellectual and recreational activities and discuss concepts of diversity, culture, and their impact and influence within American society. In addition, an adequate amount of free time is incorporated into the retreat for roaming city neighborhoods; fellowshipping with retreat and local residents; catching dinner in stylish ethnic restaurants; and visiting brilliant museums, exhibits, and major city attractions.
