Student Organizations

Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) is an international honorary for education majors. KDP was founded in 1911 and promotes excellence in and recognizes outstanding contributions to education. Members of KDP exemplify worthy education ideals, express an intention of continuing in the field of education and show evidence of leadership abilities.

Student National Education Association (SNEA) is a student-led organization on Mount Union’s campus, and is open specifically for education majors.

Mu Phi Epsilon is a national music honorary.

Ohio Collegiate Music Educators Association has an affiliate chapter on Mount Union’s campus, developed specifically for music educators.

Kappa Kappa Psi is an honorary band fraternity located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Many colleges and university's around the country have a local chapter of this prestigious organization in which honorary band members who demonstrate leadership, excellence in practice and performance, support for the greater good of the band, and who work to help others enjoy the art of making music, are often asked to join this fraternity. The University of Mount Union is home to the Iota Lambda Chapter, and membership is open to any member of the Mount Union Band Program upon invitation.
