A liberal arts education is preparing me to be well rounded, and I believe that will be a great attribute when looking for a job.

If you dream of performing onstage, creating music for film or instructing others as they work to build their musicianship skills, a major in music may be for you.  An exciting career awaits you as a singer, instrumentalist, composer, conductor or music director.   Music majors also can pursue rewarding work in recording or production studios, radio, TV, film and even video games.  Others may choose to engage in private voice or instrumental instruction, guiding others as they pursue their performance dreams.

As a musician, you will spend considerable time rehearsing and performing. Our program provides you with ample opportunity for both.  From small performance groups to major ensembles, one-on-one instruction to solo recitals, the outlets offered to fine-tune your talents and gain experience performing on stage are many.  In the end, you will be prepared to for a rewarding and successful career.
