Music Theatre Workshop Presents “Life’s Journeys”

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union’s Department of Music will present a Musical Theatre Workshop at 11:15 a.m. on April 3 and 7:30 p.m. on April 4 in Presser Recital Hall.

Musical selections will include songs of Alaric Jans, Jarvin Hamlish, Mel Brooks, Jason Robert Brown, Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein, Joan Micklin Silver and Julianne Boyd and Leonard Bernstein.

Student performers include sophomore history major Amy Achenbach of Butler, PA; junior neuroscience major Erin Bell of Mount Vernon, OH; junior music major Maya Brown of Tiffin, OH; senior music education major Kacey Cooper of Deerfield, OH; freshman communication and theatre major Rachel Irwin of Mentor, OH; sophomore music and theatre major David Lenahan of Rocky River, OH; sophomore middle childhood education and theatre major Megan Ostrofsky of North Canton, OH; senior religious studies and English major Jesse Phillips of Norwalk, OH; sophomore psychology major Natalie Ricciutti of Canfield, OH; junior music and theatre major Alex Waitinas of Bristolville, OH; sophomore music education major Haley Walls of Oregon, OH and freshman theatre major Sarah Yannie of Rocky River, OH.

Presser Recital Hall is located in Cope Music Hall on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue. Due to ongoing construction at the site of the new Performing Arts Complex, no on-site parking is available behind the building. Alternate parking is available on Simpson and Vincent Streets and in the Eells Art Center parking lot, as well as in other campus parking lots.
