Discovering Mount Union

I live locally, so I knew some people who had attended Mount Union. I chose to come here myself because of the sense of community. I feel as though there is a group for everyone here on campus. There is a club, organization, or place for everyone where they can network, make friends, or gain experience. I would suggest that people looking to choose a university try and reach out to students that are currently attending the schools they are interested in. These students can provide insight on what it is really like on campus through their first-hand experience.

Home Away from Home

Mount Union is a second home to me. Here at UMU, there is such a tight-knit community feeling. It really feels as if the staff and faculty personally care about you and want you to do well here.

Choosing Communications

Communications has always appealed to me. I took my first communications course my first semester as a Mount Union student, and it just clicked for me. I tried to explore other majors, but nothing felt as comfortable as communication did. My goal is to get into event planning. As a RA here on campus, I love being able to plan events that interest my residents and help them achieve greatness.
