National Eating Disorder Awareness Week

The University of Mount Union’s Office of Alcohol, Drug and Wellness Education, Association of Women Students, Raider Programming Board and the Psychology Club have planned a variety of events on Monday, February 27 in the Mount Union Theatre in honor of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. Resource Fair
6 p.m.
Representatives from New Beginnings Center for Eating Disorders, Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders, Eating Disorder Network, Trillium Family Solutions and National Alliance on Mental Illness of Stark County will be on campus discussing their missions and services.

Viewing of the Documentary, America the Beautiful
7 – 8:45 p.m.
America the Beautiful highlights modern societies’ obsession with celebrities, plastic surgeries and distorted female body images as well as the constant pressure women face to be thin on a daily basis.
