Native Ohio Plant Exploration Day to be Held July 23

The John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center and The Beech Creek Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve will hold a Native Ohio Plant Exploration Day on Sunday, July 23 from 1-5 p.m.

Ongoing activities at both locations include children's hands-on learning activities, nature crafts for all ages and trail walks. Plants will be labeled and learning stations will be located along the trails.

Special presentations include Native Ohio Trees and Shrubs from 2-3 p.m. at Brumbaugh Nature Center and Native Ohio Plants from 4-5 p.m. at Beech Creek Nature Preserve.

Explorers will receive a free plant.
