Nature Center Presents Naturally Clean Soap Making Demonstration

May 27, 2010

The John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will be holding a 'Naturally Clean' soap making demonstration and soap making project on Saturday, July 24 from 1-3 p.m.

Barbara Lyons will demonstrate the art of soap making and show us how we can include completely natural elements in our bathing regimens. Lyons will talk about the goodness of handcrafted soaps and will demonstrate the cold process of soap making. There will also be a hands-on-melt-and-pour glycerin soap project. Everyone leaves with goodies. Please bring a shoebox with a lid (preferably a child's or baby's size).

Registration is required, and the demonstration is limited to the first 15 people who register. The Nature Center is located 6 miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183. For more information, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
