Nature Center Presents Perseid Meteor Shower Watch
August 5, 2004
The John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will be holding a Perseid Meteor Shower Watch on Thursday, August 12 from 9 ' 11 p.m.
The Perseids are associated with the comet Swift-Tuttle and usually provide a wonderful show of 'shooting stars' each August. The show is best in the predawn hours, but we should still see enough 'falling stars' to wish upon.
No registration is required but the program will be cancelled if the sky is cloudy. The Nature Center is located 6 miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183. For more information, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
