Nature Center Presents Project WILD
May 10, 2010
The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will hold Project WILD on Saturday, February 23 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
This nationally acclaimed program is designed for teachers and youth leaders who
work with children of all ages. Its goal is to assist learners in developing awareness, knowledge and commitment to make informed decisions concerning our wildlife and natural resources. Its mission is to help youngsters learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think. All participants will receive a Project Wild Activity Guide courtesy of the Division of Wildlife (and available only to those who attend the workshop). Bring a sack lunch and dress for the weather. The presenters will be Cheryl Mattevi, Patty Rickard, and Karen Santee.
Registration is required. Call the Nature Center at (30) 823-7487 to register. The Nature Center is located 6 miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off of Route 183.
