Nature Center to Hold Flying WILD November 8

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will be holding an educational program designed to introduce middle school students to bird conservation on Saturday, November 8 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Flying WILD is a program for teachers that will consist of several hands-on classroom activities, community service projects and a bird festival.  Each participant will also receive the program publication Flying WILD: An Educator’s Guide to Celebrating Birds.

Registration is required. There is a $10 registration fee. The Nature Center is located six miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off of Route 183. For more information, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
