Nature Center to Hold the “Egg Zen Trick”

March 14, 2008

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will be holding the Spring Equinox Egg Balancing or "Egg Zen Trick" on Thursday, Match 20 from 2-4 p.m.

Participants will be learning the theory behind the spring equinox which is believed to be a symbol for the balance and rebirth after darkness. If an egg can be balanced on end during a day it is a sign that nature is in harmony. Participants are encouraged to bring a fresh egg and see if they can stand the egg on end.

No registration is required. The Nature Center is located six miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off of Route 183. For more information, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
