Dr. Francis Schortgen, assistant professor of political science and international studies at the University of Mount Union, will present The Rise of China: Perception vs. Reality on Tuesday, September 27 at the LINC luncheon. The luncheon will be held in the Hoover-Price Campus Center, located on the University’s campus.

The University of Mount Union, in collaboration with the Alliance community, has planned a variety of events in remembrance of September 11.

Adam Sarata, a lecturer of guitar at the University of Mount Union, will perform on Sunday, September 18 at 3 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

Greek life at the University of Mount Union continues to remain strong. In fact, four fraternity and sorority chapters from Mount Union won or were recognized with top honors this summer at their respective conventions.

The Mount Union Alliance Chorale is currently seeking new members to join its choir. A love of singing is the only requirement as there will be no auditions held.

Daniel Huston, a 2011 graduate of the University of Mount Union, will perform on Sunday, September 11 at 3 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
