The Mount Union College Repertory Strings will perform a concert on Tuesday, February 24 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The Mount Union College Continued Learning Committee is offering free Continued Learning Program sessions for adults at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays in February in the Hoover-Price Campus Center. The Art of Dirk Rozich with the respected local illustrator will be held February 24 in the East Room.

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will hold a Drum Circle on Saturday, February 21 from 2-4 p.m.

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will hold a Walk with a Naturalist on Sunday, February 22 from 2-4 p.m.

The Society of Physics Students at Mount Union College will host an Observatory Viewing Night on Friday, February 20. It will be held from 7-9 p.m. on the roof of Bracy Hall, Mount Union’s natural sciences facility.

The Mount Union College departments of Music and Theatre will present the Samuel French musical “The Spitfire Grill” in the Rodman Playhouse. The show, under the direction of Dr. Doug Hendel, professor of theatre and chair of the Department of Theatre, will premiere on Friday, February 20 at 8 p.m. Additional shows will be on Saturday, February 21, Thursday, February 26, Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28 at 8 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance on Sunday, February 22 at 2 p.m.

Mount Union students and educators recently attended the annual OMEA (Ohio Music Education Association) Professional Development Conference in Columbus, OH.

Mount Union College held its fourth annual College Goal Sunday on February 8.

The Corporation for National and Community Service honored Mount Union College today with a place on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to America’s communities.

Mount Union College will be hosting several more events in celebration and acknowledgement of Black History Month.

Herman Boone, former head coach of T.C. Williams High School Titans football team, presented the Black History Month Keynote Address at Mount Union on February 5.

The Community luncheon series known as LINC (lunch, information, networking, and conversation) will continue for the 2008-2009 academic year starting Tuesday, February 17 at Mount Union College.

The Mount Union College Department of Music will present a Faculty Jazz Recital on Monday, February 9 in Presser Recital Hall at 8 p.m.
