The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will be holding a Walk with a Naturalist on Sunday, August 23 at 2 p.m.

Thanks to the efforts of the entire campus community, $1,315.00 was raised through the Basket Auction in support of Mount Union's participation in the American Heart Association's upcoming Start! Heart Walk to be held Saturday, September 19.

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will hold an open house for the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival on Sunday, August 16 from 2 to 6 p.m.

Mount Union College and the Alliance Symphony Orchestra will be presenting Solo con Tutti, a concerto/aria competition on November 21, 2009.

The highly anticipated LEED-certified Gartner Welcome Center is scheduled to be completed by October of 2009. The dedication of both the Welcome Center and the wellness and recreation center will be on Friday, October 2 as a part of the Homecoming weekend festivities.

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will hold a bird banding session on Saturday, August 15 from 8 to 10 a.m.
