Dr. Donna J. Michalek has been named chair of the Department of Engineering, director of mechanical engineering and associate professor of mechanical engineering at Mount Union.

The Mount Union College Department of Theatre will present “Rumors” by Neil Simon on February 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 at 8 p.m. in the Rodman Playhouse.

Mount Union College will host its next Continued Learning Program Session featuring web editor and reporter Joni Bowen on Tuesday, February 16 at 10 a.m. in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

Mount Union College will be hosting several events in honors and celebration of Black History Month.

Humanitarian, international peacemaker, former mountaineer, co-founder of two non-profit organizations and co-author of Three Cups of Tea, Greg Mortenson will present the Schooler Lecture at Mount Union College on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 8 p.m. in the Timken Gymnasium of the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex.

The solar panel roof above the Peterson Field House on Mount Union’s campus is generating enough electricity to power several average size homes. It is one of the largest single solar arrays in the State of Ohio.

There was a three-way competition going on between loud, louder and loudest inside Mount Union's Hoover-Price Campus Center Sunday night.

The P.L.A.Y.E.R.S. Club Steppers performance, sponsored by the Black Student Union and the Raider Programming Board, was held on February 3 in the Mount Union Theatre.

A recital featuring Mount Union College Department of Music faculty members Kathy Gold, vocalist and Kathy Reichenberger, pianist will be held on Sunday, February 7 at 3 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The River City Brass Quintet will perform on Monday, February 8 in Presser Recital Hall at 8 p.m.

Dr. Stanley Hauerwas, the Gilbert T. Rowe Professor of Theological Ethics at the Divinity School of Duke University, presented the Carr Lecture on February 3 at Mount Union College.

The Mount Union College Continued Learning Committee is offering free Continued Learning Program sessions for adults every Tuesday in February at 10 a.m. in the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will be hosting a Folk Jam on Sunday, February 7 at 2 p.m.
