Dr. Beth Canfield-Simbro, assistant professor of human performance and sport business and co-director of the honors program at Mount Union will present “What Are Those Crazy Kids Up To?” at the LINC Luncheon on Tuesday, February 16 at noon in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center. The LINC luncheon is a college-community luncheon series presented by Mount Union professors and community members conversing about current topics.

The Annual Sport Sales Workshop and Job Fair, presented by Mount Union College, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Indians, will be held Friday, February 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena and Progressive Field in Cleveland, OH.

Students who are selected for the Midwest Campus Compact Citizen-Scholar (M3C) Fellows Program complete 300 hours of community service throughout the course of a year and receive a $1,000 AmeriCorps education award.

Jennifer Peteya, a senior geology and art major at Mount Union College, is preparing to spend her summer thousands of miles away studying geological history from hundreds of millions of years ago in central Asia.

Randall C. Hunt, a director and shareholder in the law firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A., has been elected chair of the Mount Union College Board of Trustees. The appointment was made during the Board’s annual spring meeting.

Mount Union’s second annual move-out day benefit sale and recycling project, “Clean the MUC,” raised $1,037 to benefit area United Way agencies and promoted sustainability on campus and in the community.
