A student recital featuring students from the University of Mount Union will be held on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:35 a.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

More than 175 people attended the University of Mount Union’s Association of International Students’ (AIS) annual international dinner on Saturday, November 12 on campus.

University of Mount Union students invest in themselves to help improve the future of our country.  Over 34% of the undergraduate student body at the University receives the Federal Pell Grant, which helps make the dream of a college education that much closer.  Congress continues to cut the federal spending budget and the Federal Pell Grant is not exempt. Join others from across the nation in signing this statement of support to help “Save Student Aid.” 

Dr. Ronald Mendel, associate professor of human performance and sport business and director of the University of Mount Union’s Exercise Science Program, will present Fit or Fat? on Tuesday, November 22 at the LINC Luncheon. The luncheon will be held in the Hoover-Price Campus Center at noon, which is located on the University’s campus. 

Dr. Sudhir Kaul and Ting Shen were the featured speakers at the University of Mount Union’s annual faculty forum on November 8.

The Mount Union Alliance Chorale will present a fall concert on Sunday, November 20 at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First United Presbyterian Church

Fans will be able to meet Joe Tait, get a copy of his new book -- It's Been a Real Ball -- and have it signed by him Saturday, November 19 at 4 p.m. at the Hoover-Price Campus Center at the University of Mount Union in Alliance.

The University of Mount Union’s Ralph and Mary Regula Center for Public Service and Civic Engagement and other volunteers from Mount Union along with guest chef Dennis Devies Jr. will prepare and host a free community-wide Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday, November 19 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Alliance Salvation Army. The meal is free, open to the public and will include activities for children.

Dr. Cynthia Taggart, professor of music education and area chair of music at the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Music, presented the Wolf Lecture on Thursday, November 3 at the University of Mount Union.

The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Greek Life Leadership Conference will be held at the University of Mount Union on Saturday, November 12. Mount Union and Otterbein are serving as co-hosts of the conference.

The University of Mount Union’s Association of International Students (AIS) is holding its annual international dinner on Saturday, November 12 at 7 p.m. in the Kresge Dining Commons of the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

During the upcoming election day on Tuesday, November 8, Stark County voters will see some new faces working at the polls, specifically University of Mount Union students.

The University of Mount Union will hold a faculty research forum on Tuesday, November 8 at 10:35 a.m. in Room 206 of the Engineering and Business Building.
