Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2011 is right around the corner as it is slated for Friday, October 7 through Sunday, October 9. From reminiscing in the Hoover-Price Campus Center with old friends and catching up with classmates on the Quad to taking a campus tour and spending the afternoon with family around the Campus Lakes, Alumni Weekend and Homecoming’s environment and schedule offers alumni an array of events and entertainment options, allowing them to make their own Mount Union fun.

Photographer Jim Clark will present the Kershaw Lecture at the University of Mount Union on Tuesday, October 11 at 10:35 a.m. in Presser Recital Hall. Clark serves as contributing editor for Outdoor Photographer magazine and is the author of four books. The lecture will be followed by an artist’s reception in Crandall Art Gallery. 

Marc Kovac, statehouse bureau chief for Dix Newspapers, will speak at the Continued Learning Program on Tuesday, October 11 at 10 a.m. in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center on the University of Mount Union’s campus.

Both the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC) and the Association of Independent Colleges & Universities of Ohio’s (AICUO) board meetings were held on the University of Mount Union’s campus on Tuesday, October 4.

A representative from Invisible Children will be on the University of Mount Union’s campus Thursday, October 6 from 7 – 8 p.m. in the Mount Union Theatre. While on campus, the representative will be showing Invisible Children’s latest documentary, Tony: Lose All. Gain Everything.
