Ninth Annual "Education on the Run" Event Held February 20-22

Mount Union College alumni and friends joined together recently to take part in the "college-like" experience of the 9th Annual "Education on the Run" event held February 20-22 at The INN at Honey Run in Holmes County.
Former Mount Union faculty and staff and alumni gave special presentations exploring topics in business, spirituality, ethnicity as well as a presentation on Mount Union: Inside and Out. Speakers included Dr. Donald Hobson, professor emeritus of religion; Dorothy (Dodie) Davis '62, retired director of alumni and college activities; Terry Taylor, retired dean of students, Dr. Richard Giese, president of the College, Harry Paidas '74, vice president for public affairs and marketing; Dr. Angela Zumbar, professor emerita of Spanish; Charles Moyer '79, of Lomax Petroleum; and Dr. Truman Turnquist, interim vice president of academic affairs and dean of the College, and his wife, Linnea.
Rev. Dwight Hayes '46 was recognized for having attended the seminar all nine years.
The INN at Honey Run is located in the Amish Heartland of Holmes County and was selected as one of the country's top 25 inns. It has high standards of hospitality, comfort, food and decor.
The seminar included two nights, two dinners, two breakfasts, a Commencement luncheon and healthy breaks.
