Nominations Sought for Green Raider Awards

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union’s Sustainability Management Advisory Committee is again seeking nominations for “Green Raider” award recipients.
These awards are presented annually to one faculty member, one staff member and one student who have enhanced sustainability at Mount Union through actions that promoted the principles of social, financial and environmental responsibility. Their actions should have created a more sustainable, efficient and healthy atmosphere for our campus community.
Nominations may be made by any member of the campus community. To nominate a faculty member, staff member or student for this award, send an email to email@example.com. The email should include the nominee’s name, whether he or she is a faculty member, staff member, or student and a response to the following question:
What has the nominee done (through education, action or communication) to promote the sustainability principles of social, financial and/or environmental responsibility on the Mount Union Campus?
Nominations will be accepted through Friday, March 22, 2013. Award winners will be selected by a sub-committee of the Sustainability Management Advisory Committee. Winners will be honored during the campus Earth Day Celebration the week of April 22, 2013.
