Northeast Ohio Housing Officers Raise $1000 for Alliance Neighborhood Center

Participants in the Northeast Ohio Housing Officers (NEOHO) Drive-In Conference, hosted by Mount Union College, 'emptied their pockets' in support of the Alliance Neighborhood Center, raising $947.' With additional funds given by Mount Union's Office of Residence Life $1000 was donated to the center.

 

The 'Common Cents' penny drive was just one of many events that took place during the conference held January 29.''

The conference provided the representatives of 19 colleges and universities from Ohio with professional development opportunities to increase the knowledge and skills of the paraprofessional and professionals who are a part of residence life.' Participants gained knowledge about how to facilitate deep and thoughtful dialogue about different issues that impact residents, student staff and professional staff living in campus housing and assisted in recognizing different ways to improve their campuses.'
