november 10 is mount union parents and family day

Mount Union College will welcome the parents and other family members of current students to campus on November 10 for Parents' and Family Day 2007.

Check-in and ticket pick-up for Mount Union College's Parents' and Family Day will begin at 8 a.m. in Campus Grounds of the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

Parents' College: Information Sessions will be held from 9-11 a.m. in the Myers Sanctuary of Dewald Chapel, including topics like academic success, student wellness and millennial students. Each session will be 30 minutes in length and families will have a chance to talk with the presenters.

Free caricatures will be offered fro 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Campus Center hallway.

Legacy and Traditions will be begin at 11 a.m. in the East Room of the Campus Center. Those families who have 'legacies' attending the College are invited to join together for food, fun and socializing, including an interactive game of 'Learn About Your Legacy.' The all-you-can-eat Pre-Game Brunch in the Kresge Food Court will open at 11:30 .m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance to Kresge Court. Mount Union students who are on the meal plan will be admitted with their Purple Plu$ cards.

The day will conclude with the Mount Union Purple Raiders taking on Marietta College in the Mount Union Stadium. Mount Union students have free admission to the football game for end zone bleacher seats, but if students wish to sit with their parents reserved tickets must be purchased. Reserve seating tickets are $6.

The Mount Union Bookstore will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for guests to check out the selection of new fall merchandise, including 'mom' and 'dad' sweatshirts and t-shirts.
