- Authorization from the Ohio Board of Regents to offer the BSN degree program.
Mount Union has developed its BSN program following the accreditation standards of the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and standards of nursing education set by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The University submitted an initial application for consideration for accreditation to the CCNE and plans to host an on-site visit by a CCNE accreditation team in fall 2015. The program expects to obtain CCNE accreditation during the 2016 Spring Semester before the inaugural class graduates.
