Did you know? Donors make a difference!

Each fall, the University of Mount Union celebrates Philanthropy Week on campus. Hosted by The Mount Union Fund, Philanthropy Week celebrates the generosity of Mount Union donors, while building awareness and a culture of philanthropy on campus.

Please join us for a week of virtual-themed days and fun activities to celebrate the impact of our donors – including alumni, parents, employees, students, and friends – and to highlight the importance of “paying it forward” as part of the greater Mount Union community.

Philanthropy Week 2022

  1. Monday, November 14, 2022 | Donor "Presents" Day

    Experience our donors’ presence on campus through their gifts – or “presents” – to support your education! Acknowledge and celebrate our donors by looking for purple bows throughout campus designating the many areas supported by your donor family.  Post a photo of your favorite “present” on campus using #UMUGivesThanks to possibly win a prize! 

  2. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 | National Philanthropy Day

    Attend the Community Philanthropy Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Campus Grounds.  Co-hosted by RPB, the fair will feature local and campus organizations sharing how they use philanthropy to support their mission and community members. Stop by to learn more about the power of philanthropy, how you can get involved, and participate in a special raffle!    

  3. Wednesday, November 16, 2022 | Raider Recognition

    Students can be donors, too! Today, we recognize current students who give back to support their fellow Raiders’ Mount Union experience. Join us on social media as we highlight the many reasons students choose to give back to The Mount Union Fund.  

  4. Thursday, November 17, 2022 | Thank a Donor Day!

    Come to the Campus Grounds from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.! Join your fellow students in writing “Thank You” cards to our amazing Mount Union donors for their support of your education. As a special bonus, you can help win up to $500 for the student organization of your choice!  

  5. Friday, November 18, 2022 | Faculty and Staff Appreciation!

    We are family! Today, we recognize the HUNDREDS of faculty and staff members who give back to directly support your Mount Union experience. Look for an employee wearing their Mount Union Fund t-shirt and express your gratitude!
