Photo Gallery Open at Mount Union Nature Center

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Local photographer Mark Pitocco of Louisville, Ohio, chose the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center as the location to photograph for his exhibit, “A Sense of Place.”

The exhibit, which was initially part of the Massillon Museum’s “Fragile Waters” exhibit, consists of 25 photos centralized around a water theme. The collection features the pond, streams and ravines of the Nature Center. Pitocco received a grant for this project from Arts in Stark.

The photographs are currently displayed in the Nature Center and can be viewed during normal visitor’s hours through September 14. An artist’s reception, which is open to the public, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 4.

The Visitor’s Center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
