Poet Mary Quade to Perform at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mary Quade, poet and essayist, will speak at the University of Mount Union at 3 p.m. on Monday March 28 in room 100 of Tolerton and Hood Hall. The event is sponsored by Mount Union’s English Society.                                            

“We’re very excited to host Mary Quade,” said English Society president Garrett Graber. “It’s wonderful to have such a talented poet right on our own campus.”

Quade is the author of two books of poetry, “Guide to Native Beasts” and the recently released “Local Extinctions,” along with countless essays.
