In January 2014, President Richard Giese announced his plans to step down from the presidency at the University of Mount Union at the close of his current contract on June 30, 2015. Since that time, a president search committee, led by Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees Mr. Allen Green, has been formed to begin the task of finding a new president.
On behalf of the University, the Board of Trustees has retained the services of Thomas B. Courtice of AGB Search (Washington, DC) to assist with the search. Dr. Courtice’s 10 years of successful search experience, with particular emphasis on the leadership needs of liberal arts colleges, will help guide the University through the work that lies ahead.
