Project Learning Tree to be Held at the Nature Center

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will present Project Learning Tree on Saturday, September 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This project is designed for teachers and adult leaders who work with children in kindergarten through grade 12.
This nationally acclaimed program is based on trees and forests. All participants will learn how to use the PLT materials and will receive copies of the PLT Curriculum Guide and the secondary module "Forest Ecology." Cheryl Mattevi, Charleen Race and Patty Rickard will be the presenters for the program.
Participants should bring a sack lunch and dress accordingly. The fee for the workshop is $15 per person. Checks can be made payable to Mount Union College and should be enclosed with the registration form.
