Psychology Honorary Holds First Annual Interdisciplinary Conference

Psi Chi, Mount Union College's psychology honorary, will be hosting their first annual Interdisciplinary Conference for the Behavioral Sciences on Sat. April 27. The conference will be held in Presser Recital Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Keynote speaker Dr. Brian Blake, a consumer psychologist from Cleveland State University, will discuss research principles and methodologies from both psychology and marketing at 11:45 a.m. in Presser. Blake is a tenured professor at Purdue University with his research spanning the field of psychology, especially consumer, social, and cross-cultural psychology.
Professionally, Blake was a consultant for the U.S. State Department and the USDA, as well as local firms. He has also co-founded the marketing research firm Tactical Decisions Group and turned it into a multi-million dollar organization.
Several schools from the area, as well as Mount Union students, will be presenting their research in the behavioral sciences, including Xavier University, John Carroll University, Ohio Northern University, Bowling Green State University, and The College of Wooster.
