Ranked in the top 10 of career fields with the highest demand, psychology will prepare you to help people in applied contexts or to explore all of the other needs psychologists fill in terms of the study of learning, neuroscience, attention, memory and social behaviors. You can even pair this major with any number of complementary disciplines for an education that uniquely meets your goals for the future.
Psychology graduates have found success working for organizations including the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism, City Year, Head Start, Sleepcare Sleep Disorders, Step by Step Academy, U.S. Army, Cleveland Catholic Charities and the F.B.I.
Students of the psychology program have also chosen to pursue graduate study at institutions including Purdue University, Lehigh University, Malone University, Walsh University, Notre Dame University, Cleveland State University and Kent State University.
The psychology major and minor is administered by the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, which also offers a major and minor in neuroscience.
