My favorite class thus far has been Epidemiology, which is the study of disease outbreak and prevention. I liked this class because it is the cornerstone of public health. Plus, it is amazing how many little details actually go into public health programs that keep us safe and healthy on daily basis.

Public Health
Public health is a growing field that encompasses private and public practices aimed at promoting health and preventing diseases. Our distinctive program, which offers a broad view of the various aspects of the field, will prepare you for a rewarding career as well as graduate study in public health.
The major in public health is administered by the Department of Human Performance and Sport Business, which also offers programs in athletic training, exercise science, health, physical education and sport business.
