Public Service Minor

Through our program in public service, you will discover the connections between the social service and public service sectors and receive guidance and experience in leadership communication, non-profit organization and government service. You’ll be equipped with hands-on preparation and the necessary knowledge to succeed in careers in the social service and public service sectors of our society.

Through Mount Union’s Ralph and Mary Regula Center for Public Service and Civic Engagement, you will have instant access to a comprehensive service-learning and community service program. This will allow you to get involved in activities that will lead to the enhancement of your long-term commitment to civic engagement,
social responsibility and public service.

The minor in public service is administered by the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, which also offers minors in Africana studies and gender studies.

You may also want to check out American studies, criminal justice, economics, legal studies, political science, ROTC and sociology.
