Raider Programming Board

Raider Programming Board, or RPB, is responsible for a number of the all-campus programs that are brought to campus. In fact, there are four Programming Series organized by this group, which are listed below. For the schedule of events, click on the Programming Series titles below.

Midweek Madness:

These weekly events occur on Wednesday evenings and are free to all students, faculty and staff. They include events from home-grown gameshows to comedians and hypnotists.

Coffeehouse Series:

This series is an opportunity for musicians and artists on campus to showcase their talents approximately twice per month. Whether you play an instrument, sing, write short stories or poetry, are trying out your comedic chops, or just want to watch others display their talents, drop by these events for tons of entertainment and coffeehouse refreshments.

Movie Series:

The Mount Union Movie Series takes place once per month in the HPCC East Room. Free to all students, faculty and staff, the movies take place at 8 p.m. on a Friday night. Popcorn, candy and soda provided!

After Hours Series:

After Hours is a subcommittee of RPB that specifically works to provide fun and affordable off campus events, that include transportation.

Traditions Events:

Mount Union prides itself on its history and tradition, and programming is no exception. RPB plans several Traditions events throughout the year, including Week of Welcome, Family Day, Homecoming, Little Sibs Weekend, and Springfest.

RPB meets weekly on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in the HPCC Alumni Room. If you have an interest in choosing acts to bring to campus or planning events, then joining RPB is definitely for you!

Our Raider Programming Board is a member of the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), and attends the regional and national conferences each year. The opportunity to attend a NACA Conference provides students with a variety of leadership and learning opportunities, including meeting and working with national booking agencies, networking with students and staff members at institutions in our region and nationwide, and learning to contract events.
