I’ve always been interested in how things work and how I can make things more efficient.
Gaining the knowledge your student needs for the real world begins with being technologically prepared. Every Mount student experiences technology first hand without sacrificing the personal approach. Their classroom experiences will be enhanced by technology and their relationships with professors and fellow classmates will benefit from all our electronic communication choices.
Technology at Mount Union will enhance their exploration of the University's campus. Our website provides a wealth of information about our offerings, as well as an online directory, course scheduling and grade viewing, and textbook purchasing. Several multimedia classrooms allow students to get the best education possible with the use of computer-generated presentations, telecasts and Internet resources, and our professors list course requirements and updates online for easy access and viewing.
But the best thing about our technology is that it doesn't confine your student ' it allows him or her to explore the world and see and experience things they may not have the opportunity to otherwise. Our online library resources allow your student to search the databases of libraries throughout the country and locate up-to-date journal articles for research assignments. Other academic research is gathered through Internet resources and specifically-designed computer programs. When it is time to seek out internships or begin their career search, your child can post his or her resume online for potential employers to view, bringing that dream job a little closer.
